Today, Canadian Armed Forces continue to protect the freedom Canada enjoys, as did hundreds of thousands of brave Canadians in uniform since the First World War. Every November, from the 5th to the 11th, Canada remembers the service and sacrifice of Canadians of all races, backgrounds who served in battles commemorated on Remembrance Day or Armistice Day.

A new survey suggests more Canadians are planning to mark Remembrance Day this year, perhaps in a salute to the few remaining veterans of the Second World War.
