Winning South Carolina, Biden Makes Case Against Sanders: 'Win Big or Lose'

<b>Winning South Carolina, Biden Makes Case Against Sanders: 'Win Big or Lose'</b>Joseph R. Biden Jr. drew on his decades-long relationships and leveraged his close bond with black voters to wrap up a state long considered his stronghold.
Joe Biden scored a victory in South Carolina's Democratic primary on Saturday, thanks to a strong African American support and bounced back from underwhelming performances in the first three contests which were all won consecutively by rival progressive candidate Bernie Sanders. The race now quickly shifts toward next week's 'Super Tuesday', when voters in 14 states award one third of the total number of presidential delegates. The candidate who wins in Super Tuesday primaries will have greater chances of winning his party's nomination. The democratic race seems to be narrowing down to Bernie, Warren, and Biden, and might end up in a face-off between Bernie and Biden. Amy Klobuchar and Pete Buttigieg have dropped put of the race ahead of 'Super Tuesday'. Some people are projecting wins for Biden in VA, NC, OK, AR, AL, TN, and for Bernie in CA, MA, ME, VT, AS, UT, CO, TX. If Bernie is lucky, he may also take MN. Bernie has the slight advantage in terms of being viable in many of the states Biden will win. He looks viable in TX, VA, NC, OK, TN, maybe not AR and AL. whereas Biden will probably not be viable in MA, CA, VT, MN, ME, UT. But with that being said, none of both seems to be able of winning a majority this way. They'll probably have some split with Bernie ahead with the plurality come the convention. Bernie raised $46 million in February, first record in 2020. The TV advertising that he can use to rein in some boomer support in key areas should be enough to finish safely the primaries. Joe Biden is regarded as another flip-flopper prone to gaffes. Some Democrats call him 'Trump version 2': "I think I probably have a much higher IQ than you do, I suspect. I went to law school on a full academic scholarship — the only one in my class to have a full academic scholarship and ended up in the top half of my class. I won the international moot court competition. I was the outstanding student in the political science department at the end of my year. I graduated with three degrees from undergraduate school and 165 credits — only needed 123 credits— and I’d be delighted to sit down and compare my IQ to yours.", Joe Biden was quoted saying in a Chicago Tribune article dated sept 22, 1987. Later the facts were totally different from his bragging. He graduated 76th in a class of 85 and acknowledged: "I did not graduate in the top half of my class at law school and my recollection of this was inaccurate.", he acknowledged. "I graduated from the University of Delaware with a double major in history and political science. My reference to degrees at the Claremont event was intended to refer to these majors -- I said 'three' and should have said 'two.'", he added. "With regard to my being the outstanding student in the political science department, my name was put up for that award by David Ingersoll, who is still at the University of Delaware.", he continued. "My recollection is - and I'd have to confirm this - but I don't recall paying any money to go to law school.", he went on to say. Newsweek said Mr. Biden had gone to Syracuse "on half scholarship based on financial need." "I exaggerate when I'm angry", he concluded. Thoughts?
