Sophie Trudeau, wife of Canadian Prime Minister, tests positive for coronavirus

Sophie Trudeau, wife of Canadian Prime Minister, tests positive for coronavirusSophie Trudeau has mild symptoms and is feeling well, and will remain in isolation for 14 days, the Prime Minister's office said in a statement late Thursday.
The coronavirus reaches into halls of power around the world. A week ago, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, the wife of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada, tested positive for the coronavirus. On the advice of physicians, Mr. Trudeau continued to work from home for the next 14 days, a statement said, although he showed no symptoms and physicians did not test him for the virus. Canada currently has 727 confirmed cases with 9 deaths. As of March 18, 2020, the Government of Canada will ban foreign nationals from all countries except the United States from entering Canada. This measure does not apply to air crews, travelers arriving in Canada in transit to a third country, Canadian permanent residents, diplomats or immediate family members of Canadian citizens. The leader of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, is awaiting results of his own test after an aide fell ill. Both president Donald Trump and vice president Mike Pence had a meeting with the Brazilian official, Fabio Wajngarten, the press secretary for Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, who tested positive. A video from the event showed Mr. Wajngarten standing directly behind Mr. Trump and Mr. Bolsonaro as they spoke to a crowd. Australia's minister for Home Affairs, Peter Dutton, who last week met with Ivanka Trump, President Trump's daughter and senior adviser, said he had contracted the new coronavirus.
